WEEKLY UPDATE
Thursday night hockey went down like this: The first game of the night saw one team's player net a hat-trick in a dominant win, while the second featured an early lead reversed by a strong opposing performance. In the third match, despite one team's intense pressure, excellent goaltending and opportunistic scoring secured a comfortable lead for the other. The final game remained close until a mid-game offensive surge broke the tie leading to a desisive victory. Onto the full recaps.
RECAPS
West End Bombers vs SubMaroons
Paul Edmonds got WeB going early, burying his chance in front of the net to open the scoring. SuMa Jamie Charbonneau put his team on his back, scoring three straight goals for a hat-trick and a 3-1 lead at the brek. SuMa continued their offensive dominance in the second half, with Sebastien Mercier scoring twice and Rachel Bolzon adding another to extend their team's lead. Stephanie Bigras scored late for WeB but it was too little, too late to spark a comeback. SuMa ultimately took the game with a 6-2 victory.

However, spare Ethan Watkins scored back-to-back goals for SMBOMT. A late push from PO saw Deschamps get his second goal but it wasn't enough. SMBOMT took the game with a final score of 5-3.
