WEEKLY UPDATE

Our final week #10 of the winter 2026 season is in the books and congratulations to all the players for giving it their all on the floor.  Week after week, the season featured exciting matchups, strong teamwork, and noticeable growth from all participants, making the final games a great reflection of how far everyone has come.

RECAPS

White B vs Red B

The final week of the session was underway, and we had a very eager goalie in nets. Ronan and Emmett Wereley would switch positions. Emmett Wereley and Logan Cheng would show their awesome chemistry; Scoring 2 goals early off of great plays and shots. Leo Aprile would put one in for Team Red. Emmett would strike again; Scoring 2 more in the 1st Half!!! 5-1 for Team White at Half. Ari Appel would bury a rebound after a breakaway. Final score 6-1. What a way to end the season!

White A vs Red A

In a change of pace, the scorekeeper strapped on the pads and decided to have some fun! Cormac Simmons and Felix Boucher would make some great saves in the first half. Lots of shots 18-16, and only 1 goal. The floodgates would open up. Mehdi El Kebir would put one in off a rebound. The game would end up tied at 3, so Shootout to decide the game. Team White would end up winning the shootout 3-2!!

While stats aren’t everything, part of introducing the kids to HTBHL includes giving them a taste of what our adult leagues experience. For the 3 stars listed in the schedule section of the website, selections will primarily be based on game statistics, just as they are in our adult divisions. That said, we’ll also spotlight players from each game below who may not have earned a star but stood out for their teamwork, sportsmanship and effort throughout the game.
