RECAPS

Black vs White

It was an action-packed game from start to finish, with Team Black dominating early through sharp passing and relentless offensive pressure. Austin O’Dell opened the scoring with a setup from Akito Reinhart, followed by a strong finish from Sebastian Warden to double the lead. Black continued to build momentum as Reinhart scored off a smooth passing play from Nixon Giammaria and Warden, and O’Dell added another goal to make it 4-0 at halftime. Team White fought back in the second half, with Jibrael Wasty scoring from Liam Fortes to get his team on the board, but Black sealed the game with another goal from Warden to cap off a commanding performance. Akito Reinhart earned 1st star honors for his creative playmaking, Sebastian Warden took 2nd star for his scoring touch, and Austin O’Dell was named 3rd star for his two-goal effort. The Player of the Game was Nixon Giammaria, recognized for his constant movement into open space to create passing opportunities, while Cormac Simmons earned Goalie of the Game for his excellent reflexes and steady presence in the net. Team Black’s teamwork and precision passing ultimately made the difference, securing them a well-deserved victory, final score 5-1.

*** STARS OF EACH GAME ***

While stats aren't everything, part of introducing the kids to HTBHL includes giving them a taste of what our adult leagues experience. For the 3 Stars listed in the schedule section of the website, selections will primarily be based on game statistics, just as they are in our adult divisions. That said, we’ll also spotlight players from each game below who may not have earned a star but stood out for their teamwork, sportsmanship and effort throughout the game.

PLAYER OF THE GAME : Nixon Giammaria

GOALIE : Cormac Simmons
